At the end of the olive woodland, you pass a fence. Don’t forget to close the fence behind you. The path gradually becoming more rugged and rocky. Follow the streambed, which may be dry in the summer months. Along the way, you’ll see various rock formations, small caves, and ancient terraces. Keep an eye out for local wildlife, such as birds of prey and lizards. Some parts of the trail may require scrambling over rocks, so proceed with caution.<h3> Arrival at Karoumes Beach</h3> Reaching the Beach After approximately 1:30 hours of hiking, you will arrive at the beautiful and secluded Karoumes Beach.Heading Back When you’re ready, retrace your steps back through the gorge to the village of Chochlakies.
