We're Loic and Stephanie, two people who fell in love with Crete — and never really left.

A few years ago, like many others, we visited Crete for a holiday. But from the very first visit, we knew this island was something else. The stunning beaches, the powerful mountains, the breathtaking hikes, the warmth of the people, the culture, the food... Crete had it all. We were hooked.

Since then, we’ve been coming back multiple times a year. What started as a single trip quickly turned into a passion — and eventually, a purpose. Our love for Crete naturally led to the birth of our Instagram page, @crete_travel_guide. Over time, that little page grew into a vibrant community of over 32,000 people who share the same wonder we felt on our first visit.

It’s not always easy — creating content, managing everything, keeping up every day — but it’s worth every second. Because we believe Crete deserves to be seen and felt in the most real and beautiful way possible.

Our Mission

We want to bring the true feeling of Crete to life — naturally and authentically. No filters, no tourist traps, just real places, real moments, and real love for this island.

We’ve created a digital travel guide based entirely on our own experiences: places we’ve personally visited, hidden gems we’ve discovered, and tips you won’t find in a regular guidebook. Through this guide, we aim to:
